The company is capable of producing liquefied petroleum gases of the following grades in strict compliance with the regulations set forth by applicable quality standards:

  • PBA — propane-butane autogas and PA — propane autogas (intended to be used as a fuel for road transport);
  • TPBM — technical propane butane mixture and TB — technical butane (intended to be used as a fuel for communal and domestic consumption and industrial purposes).

Additionally, the company is capable of exporting liquefied petroleum gas intended to be used as a fuel for road transport, as well as mixtures of gases intended for domestic consumption in strict compliance with the requirements of European standards.

  • Domestic sale of products within the territory of the Republic of Belarus with the possibility of loading into rail tank cars and tank trucks;
  • Export of liquefied petroleum gas by European gauge rail tank cars, Customs Union rail tank cars and road transport;
  • Domestic and export sale of products with the possibility of loading into railway tank cars and tank trucks;
  • HFL (highly flammable liquids). At the moment, the reconstruction of the production complex already allows for the transshipment of diesel fuel at the terminal.

In the future, it is also planned to carry out transshipment of bulk cargo (coal, gravel, etc.).

The production of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is one of the fastest growing sectors of the global energy market. LPG is actively used as a fuel for internal combustion engines of cars, sea vessels, agricultural machinery and aviation. The gas filling station in the Brest region has mastered a proven technology for mixing and making mixtures and produces liquefied gas of the European standard. With regard to the physicochemical and operational parameters, export grade LPG meets the requirements and norms stipulated by the European standard PN-EN 589 + A1:2012 «Fuels for Internal Combustion Engines. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Technical requirements».

Normal butane fraction is produced in a gas fractionation plant and is essentially comprised of butane (not less than 98.6% for the High grade, 97.5% for grade A) with small amounts of accompanying hydrocarbons. It is used as a raw material for the production of butadiene during  processing of synthetic rubber, for pyrolysis, as well as for other purposes. Normal butane fraction is a low-risk product and, according to the degree of exposure to the human body, belongs to the 4th hazard class in accordance with GOST 12.1.007.

Normal butane is used both for domestic consumption and industrial purposes. When mixed with propane, it is used as a domestic fuel and a smokeless autogas. It is also used as a solvent — for dewaxing and deasphalting of petroleum products, in the polymerization of vinyl esters and for the extraction of fats, as well as for the production of soot. When mixed with oxygen, it is used for cutting metals. It is soluble in organic solvents. At ordinary temperatures, it is chemically inert. At high temperatures it is completely burned out with the formation of carbon dioxide and water. It forms explosive mixtures with air in certain concentrations.

Isobutane is a colourless, odourless gas which can be  dissolved in organic solvents. It is contained in gas condensate and petroleum gases. It is combustible. It is a product of catalytic and hydrocatalytic cracking of petroleum fractions. The main use of isobutane in the industry is as raw material for the production of isobutylene, which in turn is the raw material for the production of butyl rubber. Due to its high octane number (100), isobutane is used as a fuel component for internal combustion engines. Moreover, isobutane is often used as a filler in aerosol cans. Isobutane is a low-risk product and, according to the degree of exposure to the human body, belongs to the 4th hazard class in accordance with GOST 12.1.007.
